ProGeorgia Fund is a pooled fund committed to resourcing local communities and grassroots organizations across the state of Georgia that work to protect voting rights and increase civic engagement.
Incubated by ProGeorgia, the Fund is structured to move money efficiently to more than 60 organizations ahead of the 2024 national election cycle. Georgia, as the pivot point in national elections, plays a vital role in shaping our nation’s political future.
Elections in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022 created opportunities for ProGeorgia to pilot and test regrant to its 61 coalition partners across Georgia, during critical moments that demanded robust ground game and grassroots mobilization - protecting safe and fair elections for often disenfranchised voters. The 2024 elections will require even deeper community engagement as voters face election fatigue and apathy.
ProGeorgia is a statewide network, or table, committed to the goal of ensuring that every Georgian is able to fully participate in our democracy.
We are a permanent impact-focused collaborative working to solve real problems for real people in Georgia. We strive to bring greater equity to our state by engaging underrepresented and socially responsible voters in the democratic process and establishing collective action around common issue areas. Key issue areas include voting rights, quality and affordable health care, economic justice, civil rights, improving public education and more. We strive to reach, represent, and empower Georgians through a nonpartisan movement that is forward-looking and people-centered.
Now equipped with the ProGeorgia Fund, we are building vital infrastructure for regranting and resourcing grassroots mobilization across the state for years to come.
The ProGeorgia Fund is a closed fund, available by invitation only to ProGeorgia’s 61 table partners advocating for voting rights, inclusive democracy, and justice. In 2024, we aim to efficiently regrant $10M through the Fund.
